Update Coming Soon
Driving home from a meeting, a co-worker was charging his phone from the USB output from my Pioneer DEH-4400BT...
It seemed that he had a bad USB cable as it was cutting in and out, switching from my BT connection, to the USB connection, until, after about the 3rd or 4th interuption the Stereo died...
I have checked all fuses, even got the stereo in bits looking for an internal fuse... nothing.
Has anybody ever blown a stereo through the USB conn, and know a fix? Or should I just get another Stereo?
In all my years at the dealership I have not heard of a bad USB causing a radio to blow. Not that it couldn't happen, just I have not seen it. It could actually be several things
Best is to get checked out.
