Any suggestions on how I can change the burnt out headlight on my 2011 chevy malibu that's easier than taking off the bumper?
I do not want to take it into the dealer to have it done.
Do it yourself lol. The newer Malibu wasn't really designed to have the bulb changed without taking the front bumper off.
I'm trying to but I don't have the tools needed to take the bumper off myself.
Was looking for any tips that I wouldn't have to take the bumper off, guess that's not gonna happen.
Just to change a BULB?! That's gross design negligence.
It looks like it's possible but you need small hands. And then it's still a 30 minute headache per side.
Plus, if you get hand oils on those halogen bulbs it creates hot spots that cause them to burn out more quickly.
It sucks, but maybe let the dealership deal with it, maybe there's a warranty, get an oil change at the same time.
Take it to an oil change place and ask them to change the bulb
